The deadlift is one of the most beneficial compound lifts that you can perform to build overall size and strength (plus a big deadlift looks really badass. #doitforthegram)

However, many new (and even some experienced) lifters perform the lift incorrectly, and end up hurting themselves. To avoid injury, proper form, technique, and mental queues are needed. So, I put together a short video for those of you just getting started who want to learn how to perform the conventional deadlift correctly.
